Deep Divan Base
Available from the Premiere Collection, Hypnos or our Bespoke bed range. The deep divan offers up to 41cm in base. Favored by many clients who struggle to get in and out of bed as the extra height makes entering or exiting the bed much easier. The bases come as either a hard top (platform top) or with pocket springs inside (box spring base) and also with storage, either lift-up canopy divan and/or with drawers. If you prefer just a simple divan with no storage we have these too! The options on colour, material and style are too many to list and all can be combined with a head board either separate to the base or as part of a complete bed.
Shallow Divan base on legs
Available from the Premiere Collection, Hypnos or our Bespoke range. The modern and contemporary styling on this type of base along with the more economical pricing than of the deep divan make this a popular option. Many Spanish homes are not carpeted and with this style of bed being on legs, it makes it easy to sweep or mop beneath.
The other big advantage to the shallow divan is the circulation of air, because the base does not go down to the floor, air can get under the bed which will help you stay cooler in the warmer months as well as preventing a build up of moisture under the mattress - highly recommended if the bed is going on a ground floor or if you have some issues with humidity or damp as can often be the case here. We have options in a shallow divan base with box springs in our Hypnos range of bases.
Storage Divan Bases
Available in our storage bed ranges. The lift up storage divan beds are a best-seller as storage is often at a premium in Spanish homes.
The wooden storage beds are extremely economical and we have some fantastic pack offers in store in both 30cm depth and extra deep 40cm depth models. We can now offer these wooden bases in 18 colour options (there is also matching bedroom furniture available in this range as well as headboards, wardrobes and mirrors). The other style of storage divan bases that we do are the fabric or imitation leather.
These type of beds are manufactured to a very high standard and with lots of combinations drawers either front or side, lift up lids at the front or on the side or a combination of both lift up with drawers and with literally thousands of fabrics to choose from, there is something for everyone.
